Natural Anemia Remedies

Anemia is a lack of iron (hemoglobin) from low red blood cell count. Sometimes a person is without symptoms, however, iron deficiency anemia usually brings with it thin breaking fingernails and persistent fatigue, frequent yawning, light-headedness, shortness of breath or dizziness, sores on corners of mouth, pale face, and lower lip paleness.

Most common causes of anemia are lack of iron absorption from poor digestion or heavy menstrual bleeding in women. Other causes include poor bone marrow red blood cell production. The spleen can destroy red blood cells prematurely.

Medical treatments can include iron supplementation. They also look for stomach bleeding or tumors. They also look at medicines and radiation treatment that can destroy the red blood cells. Anemia is often discovered through blood tests.

From a natural perspective on anemia, we look at causes and to help support the body at optimum levels. It can be associated with low stomach acid, thus to improve digestion. It can also be a sign of cancer, Cushing’s disease, Diabetes etc.

Eat foods rich in iron such as dark greens, cherries and more. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, coffee, black tea, or sodas.

Natural Healing Protocol — First, choose an herb. Then add a cell salt or cell salt solution. Finally, choose the homeopathic remedy that fits your situation best. Combining supplements will do more to support your body’s ability to function properly than using just one. Your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time symptoms have been present.
