6 Ways to Use Cell Salts

See more in our Learning Center >

Cell salts may be taken internally, or used externally in crèmes, baths, or sprays. Cell salts are generally used in the 6X potency (strength). There are several manufacturers. I prefer the Hyland’s brand, which are available at most health-food stores. They dissolve within seconds in the mouth, water bottle, bath, or lotion.

Most clients put their tablets into a water bottle and sip it all day. When taken in water, they can even be acceptable by lactose-intolerant people. If the water method is not sufficient for those who are lactose intolerant, there are homeopathic cell salts available in liquid.

Not only can you take cell salt tablets internally, you can use them externally in lotions, creams, gels, or in sprays, or even baths. Here, you will also see some cell salt combinations for specific ailments; we call them Cell Salt Solutions. Use them internally, or externally, depending on your situation, to strengthen and support your health.

1. Dry Method (in mouth)

calc sulphTap the right amount of cell salt tablets (preferably Hylands brand) into the cap and drop them into your mouth. They should dissolve instantly and taste good. Most people like the taste, even children. The most effective way to use cell salts is to take two to 20 tablets at a time, one to three times daily.

2. Wet Method (drinking)

There are almost no rules or precautions when using cell salts in water. Many people use their daily dose of cell salts individually, or in combination, in their water bottle water to put your cell salt solution intobottle. See how to make a cell salt solution. Sip a little all day long. The cell salts “energize” the water and create a true mineral water that won’t clog up your veins or your arteries, as some supplements do. The bottle can be as small as a few ounces or as large as a gallon; size doesn’t matter. Just finish the water by the end of the day.

This method allows for higher water intake and a smooth cell salt delivery. The better the water, the better the results, as pure water dissolves out toxins, improves the joints, and your health in general. It is best to use reverse osmosis or distilled water as there are no hard minerals, again, to clog up the body. This method also allows a person to eat or drink anything else. As one sips on the cell salt water, every sip or swallow results in a substantial flow of assimilating minerals. Drink your way to health and sooner or later it will show up on your face.

3. Cell Salt Gels, Oils, Creams, and Lotions

Cell salts are versatile and can be used in various external ways. In Europe, cell salts are incorporated into crèmes and used on the skin. Remember, they work on a cellular level.

If you are a “do-it-yourself” kind of person, you can make your own gels or crèmes. Here is the recipe: Take your favorite cell salt or combination of salts, crush the tablets into powder and put into a non-aromatic (non-smelling) gel.

Gels have the advantage of being water based and non-sticky and are easily absorbed into the skin. Aloe is a good one. In one ounce of your favorite gel, etc, put five to ten crushed cell salt tablets and mix well, then keep the container tightly closed. Some of the products absorb the salts better then others. Don’t worry about the appearance.

Lotions as well as crèmes can be a commercial product without a smell. Look for products that have simple ingredients and avoid those with chemical sounding ingredients. Lotions ten to absorb into the skin and can have the added benefit of moisturizers.

Oils don’t absorb the cell salts very readily but are soothing to the skin and can be used in non-smelling massage oil.

Use your cell salt gels, oils, creams, or lotions on acupressure points, chakra centers, organ areas, and meridian lines as well as sore or painful areas. Just remember to consult a doctor if an area is very painful or sore for several days or weeks. Since cell salts are non-toxic, you can’t make a mistake. Be adventurous and find the formulas that work best for you.

4. Cell Salt Poultice

Create a cell salt poultice by putting ten or more specific cell salts or a combination of salts (formula) in a quart of purified water and stir or shake vigorously for 2 minutes. Put a soft cotton towel in the water and then wring out the excess. Put the cloth on the part of the body that you want to relieve. You can put cold water on for sunburns. (See the sunburn formula under cell salt sprays.) Hot water poultices, with the right cell salt formulas can sooth menstrual cramps, relieve pain, and more. You can also use the poultice over a particular organ or muscle.

5. Cell Salt Sprays

Put your cell salts into a spray bottle containing purified or distilled water. I would recommend ten tablets per quart. The advantage of spraying is that cell salts are absorbed directly through the skin, working at the cellular level. This is also good for those who are lactose intolerant. One of our customers likes to spray a wrinkle formula on her face before she goes to bed at night. For those with anxiety and panic, use Biochemic Phosphates (10 tablets per quart) to relax. Try this combination for sunburn: Calc Phos, Ferr Phos, and Kali Mur (three tablets of each per quart).

6. Cell Salt Baths

Use twenty 20 pellets of any cell salt in bath water, or use a combination that adds up to that number of tablets. For a general detoxification bath, put 20 tablets of the Bioplasma pellets into hot water. A simple strengthener for those with osteoporosis would be Calc Phos, Calc Fluor, and Silicea. You can put 20 of each, if you like. A good pain formula is Ferrum Phos, Mag Phos, and Nat Sulph. A relaxing bath should have Mag Phos, Kali Phos, and Nat Mur. To alleviate the discomfort of menstrual cramps, use Mag Phos, Kali Sulph, Kali Phos.
