Stroke Prevention Natural Remedies

The warning signs of stroke are dizziness, pressure on the chest, headaches, sleep disturbances, irritability and exhaustion. This is the time to change your lifestyle and diet patterns.

Causes of stroke
Lifestyle suited to strokes are being over 40 years old, obesity, stressful life, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis (cardiovascular disease), smoking, moderate to heavy drinking (over 5 drinks a week), and coffee or black tea consumption (over 1 cup a day).

Medical perspective is to moderate the lifestyle but may include antidepressants that can calm stress (but they have side effects and reduce the quality of life). They may also use other drugs to regulate blood pressure (more side effects and toxicity). They will likely prescribe statin drugs to reduce cholesterol but that has side effects of its own.

Natural perspective for stroke prevention is that there is an imbalance in the body. It is an opportunity to look in the mirror and take stock of your life and make some changes so you don’t end up dead, or worse in a nursing home or on disability. The following are ideas to help you find health and peace in your life. Why not feel good mentally, physically and emotionally? Find a way to laugh and love life. Walk at least 10 minutes a day.

For serious stroke prevention, change your diet now to eliminate tobacco, alcohol, coffee, soda, and fast foods. That will help 80% of the there. Remember to eat three meals a day with protein. Incorporate more fruits and vegetables.

Supplements, the 2 must-haves for stroke prevention are:

Garlic (Kyolic brand is really odorless). 2 capsules twice a day for help with blood pressure and cholesterol. It may be that simple.

Fish oil at 6,000 mg a day is also essential for cardiovascular health. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory. This is not a concentrated Omega 3; plain fish oil is more like real fish.

Disclaimer: some drugs and herbs should not be combined.

Natural Healing Protocol: Combining supplements will do more to support your body's ability to function properly than using just one. Use the following remedies for best results -- your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time your symptoms have been present.
